Games to Play With Tarot Cards.

The lighter side of Tarot deals with games played using this deck of uniquely unusual cards. Another game appeals to the more youthful set due to its much faster rules. Each player is dealt a card and whatever image is on the card, the player must enact a semblance. Imagine the pleasure when a player is dealt The Fool. As with games, Tarot deck designs run the gamut too. Of course, these cards have been about for centuries, and each culture has contributed its own version. Often even people have come forth with their own versions of the game, and a few of these became fairly popular. These latter decks regularly feature complicated design without a great amount of occult images and, depending on personal preferences, can occasionally be interpreted as masterpieces of Renaissance design.

Many teachers of Tarot advocate using the Waite-Smith version till the beginner has become acquainted with all of the image meanings and representations.

As a Yankee fan for over forty years I have seen many Yankee comebacks. The team of Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra were down 3 games to one. The Braves happened to be the target for another Yankee comeback in 1996 when the residents of the Big Apple stormed back from a 2-0 ( both losses at Yankee Stadium ) hole in games to win 4 in a row. Other groups have turned the series around after being down 3 games to one. The 1968 Tigers did it against the St Louis Cardinals, notwithstanding Bob Gibson awesome performances. And the 1968 Pirates overturned the Orioles with "Their Family" of stars. I'm dazzled but not stunned to see the Boston Red Sox defeat the Yankees 4 straight and then demolish the St Louis Cardinals in 4 games in sequence too. Many teachers of Tarot advocate using the Waite-Smith version till the beginner has become acquainted with all of the image meanings and representations. It's not peculiar for even a long-time specialist of Tarot to resume using the Waite-Smith version because, as one Tarot reader asserts, "It is straightforward, forthright, and appeals to the sensible side of my personality.
